Our association regularly supports the work of the EGTCs through the elaboration of maps, statistics, resource maps and distribution of information on tendering and cooperation opportunities. We regularly take part as speakers at the professional events organised by the EGTCs. In 2012 CESCI introduced the workshop of the EGTC managers.
The EGTC workshop
The introduction of the workshops for Hungarian EGTCs was initiated in the spring of 2012 by CESCI to enable the local actors to share their professional work experiences along the borders, to act jointly to represent their interests, and to assist decision-makers before adopting relevant provisions. From June 2016, the coordination and funding of the workshops organised 3 to 4 times a year was transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. At the same time, compiling of reminders remained the responsibility of CESCI, and we contribute to the preparation of the professional content of each workshop.
