EGTC-Workshop 2017/3 (Győr)

The EGTC workshop took place for the third time this year, organised by the Department for Cross-border Development and Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Arrabona EGTC, supported by the 3.3.3-15-2016-00002 project of the Public Administration and Civil Service Development Operational Programme on 4-5 October 2017. 

Deputy Mayor of the county town of Győr, Dávid Fekete and the director of the Arrabona EGTC, Péter Sárkány opened the workshop. The topics of the presentations at the first day of the workshop included the progress of the legal accessibility project, the description of the content of the Cross-Border conference in Brussels on 20-21 September 2017, the overview of information regarding priority axis 3 of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme, and the description of the Arrabona EGTC, mainly from the point of view of the winning tenders. Afterwards, topics regarding the current cross-border cooperation were discussed with the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. To conclude the official part of the day, the participants visited the project site.

On the second day of the workshop, the most recently registered EGTC, the MURABA EGTC was introduced. Later, during a half-day-long training, practical information including experiences, good practices and typical tendering mistakes were demonstrated from the point of view of application writers and application evaluators.
