The closing conference of the BorderLabs CE project, titled “Towards a Central European Territorial Agenda?”, will take place in Brussels on 10 June 2026 as a side event of the annual European Cross-Border Platform (ECBP) meeting. Supported by Interreg Central Europe, the event will focus on the future of territorial integration in Central Europe, featuring keynote speeches, the presentation of a Charter promoting a new spatial vision for the region, and round-table discussions on cross-border spatial planning, participatory governance, and the removal of legal and administrative barriers.

In CESCI’s planning activities for 2026, a prominent role will be played by the preparation of territorial analyses for three of the cross-border cooperation programmes for the 2028–2034 period. Based on the results of the 2022 evaluation of the Cross-border Health Directive, the European Commission decided to organise a series of national workshops throughout Europe to increase visibility of the directive and the patients’ rights to cross-border care it includes. The closing conference of the EU4Health project, which started in 2023, was held in Brussels on 26 March 2026.
