The objective of the action plan supplementing the Integrated Territorial Strategy of the BTC EGTC is to set the milestones in the implementation of the strategy including the timing for the budgetary period between 2014 and 2022 (n +2).

The European Border Cities European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability was registered on 20.11.2014. The EGTC brings together the municipalities of Nyíregyháza and Satu Mare along the Hungarian-Romanian border.

On 30th September, 2014 the 2nd seminar on Cross-Border Territorial Observation was held at the conference hall of the French Institute of Budapest. The seminar, organized by Central European Service for Cross-Border Initatives (CESCI) in cooperation with the Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière (MOT) and the France-Hungary Initiatives Association (INFH) and with the support of Hungarian Ministry of Public Administration and Justice has followed the former one held in Nancy in 2012 and is built on the results thereof.

The second EGTC workshop of year 2014 was organized on 3th-4th June in Ráckeve, at the Savoya Castle. Within the framework of the event the participants conciliated on the future of the EGTCs and heard presentations on an educational partnership opportunity and the 2014-2020 Hungary-Slovakia Cross-border Cooperation Programme. Besides the colleagues of the EGTCs, the representatives of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration, the Prime Minister’s Office and the EDUTUS Collage as well. Our association was represented by the Secretary General, Mr Gyula Ocskay.
