Žitný ostrov and Szigetköz are constructing joint tourism with the help of the Arrabona EGTC

The http://www.cultractive.eu website was inspired by the desire for connectivity and free accessibility of cultural and recreational programs. Managed by the Arrabona EGTC, Győr and Dunajská Streda 11 Hungarian and 6 Slovak cultural and touristic institutions came together from both cities in order to
- establish thematic hiking trails available in 3 languages
- emphasize natural and cultural values of the regions of Szigetköz and Žitný ostrov
- create a website containing interactive maps and a calendar of cultural events.
58 thematic hiking trails are available on the Cultractive website, 30 of which are developed by the EGTC. The trails include bicycle trips, hikes and canoe and kayak trips as well. There is also a sightseeing trail, which showcases the attractions in the bigger local administrative areas of the region. The community can also develop the website, anyone can create new trails and share their favourite attractions or experiences on the website.
