Analysis of territorial challenges, needs and potentials of the Danube Region and strategic options in view of the Transnational cooperation for the period 2021-2027

In February 2019, within the framework of the public benefit services, CESCI started the elaboration of the regional analysis of the transnational programme covering the Danube Region and involving 14 countries. The task required significant resources and started with the development of a comprehensive statistical database, using available national statistical data, the literature related to the analysed topics and the information gathered from member states. The richly illustrated chapters were made with the help of this database. CESCI validated the relevant chapters in several rounds, with the involvement of experts of the member states. Our experts also participated in several professional events as invited speakers and contributed to the presentations of the Managing Authority by preparing background materials. They played an active role in the planning workshops too.
