Territorial Strategy for the Danube Transnational Programme 2021-2027

Territorial Strategy for the Danube Transnational Programme 2021-2027

During 2019, CESCI prepared the Territorial Analysis of the next Danube Transnational Program 2021-2027 (DTP2), which provides evidence for the 2020 programming process. As a continuation of this work, in 2020 the DTP2 Territorial Strategy was also drafted, which later formed the basis of the programme template.

According to the preliminary methodological agreement CESCI started the work based on the Territorial Analysis prepared in 2019 for the Danube Region (which can also be considered as one of the first steps in this programming process), starting from the relevant cohesion challenges of the transnational programme. Building on this foundation, the Territorial Strategy was drafted, which, based on the identified challenges, takes into account the territorial relevance of each thematic area, the views and ideas of the relevant actors regarding the future programme, and the policy / regulatory framework for programme design.
