The Association of French-Hungarian Initiatives (now: the Association of French Central and Eastern European Initiatives) and the Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives organized for the sixth time in 2020 its professional event to promote cross-border cooperation in the Hungarian-Romanian border. The theme of this year’s workshop was the continuation of last year’s event: cross-border integrated planning and development.

In view of the epidemic situation, representatives of the Romanian-Hungarian border counties, settlements and development agencies took part in an online webinar this year. At the beginning of the trilingual event, the welcome letter of Anna-Monika Modzelewska, Program Manager of the European Commission, was read out by the organizers, followed by Gyula Ocskay, Secretary General of CESCI and José Osete, Director of IFECO who greeted the participants and outlined the background and past successes of the initiative.
