The BTC EGTC E-Transport project has arrived at a new (charging) station

| 11 March 2021

Significant progress has been made on the ROHU422 E-Transport project managed by the Banat-Triplex Confinium EGTC. For the first time in the region, electric charging stations were established and handed over in Mórahalom, which now are available for electric vehicles and buses for charging since the beginning of March 2021.

The aim of the E-Transport project supported by the INTERREG V-A Romania-Hungary Program is to develop a shared, cross-border, alternative, zero-carbon public transport system between the settlements of Zsombolya and Mórahalom, which will be made possible by the purchase of electric minibuses. The procurement procedure for the minibuses has been completed, the vehicles have arrived in Mórahalom and are waiting for their passengers to depart.

More information about the project and the minibuses can be found on the E-Transport website.
