In cooperation with many organizations from Slovakia and Hungary, the Arrabona EGTC has successfully applied to the Small Project Fund under the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme.

The tender proposals have been submitted with respect to the “PT1 – Nature and culture” and the “PT4 – Enhancing cross-border cooperation of public authorities and people” priority axes. The ‘Kultúrbár’ development proposal focuses on the previously mentioned area, which was drafted together with the municipal district of Felbár, which are participating in the development as project partner.

During the infrastructure development in the urban center, a community outdoor cultural stage will be established. The EGTC will make sure to fill the new institution with life by inviting cultural associations and groups, which will broaden cross-border cooperation during events in Felbár with cultural, music or dance performances. Beside of the events, the EGTC will organise professional study visits and partner search forums with the active participation of municipal districts, showcasing the main development results of the previous period, showing the municipal districts potential cooperation opportunities.

The CultacrossM+ project proposal was developed in connection with the “PT4 – Enhancing cross-border cooperation of public authorities and people” priority axis. The EGTC was in close cooperation with the Žitný ostrov TDM during the development, in order to create a cultural and active tourism platform. The platform boosts the popularity of cultural and tourism programs, services closely connected to rural tourism, opportunities for active tourism, attractions and cultural programs in the area of Arrabona EGTC (Szigetköz-Žitný ostrov). The platform mentioned above is the content and marketing development of the website www.cultractive.eu, which was created as a result of previous investments of Arrabona EGTC.
