Contribution in the establishment of the BOTILA EGTC 

The BOTILA (Bodrog-Tisza-Latorca) European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability was registered on August 29, 2025, and brings together two Hungarian and two Slovak municipalities along the Slovak-Hungarian border. Its headquarters is in Cigánd.

The main objectives of the BOTILA EGTC are the following:

  • to promote cross-border cooperation among the members of the Association by establishing and maintaining cooperation covering the entire range of cross-border regional development activities with the aim of strengthening economic, social and territorial cohesion, and to promote the development of the region
