Background study for the construction of the Szent Gellért bridge between Magyarcsanád and Cenad (HU)
CESCI was asked by the Prime Minister’s Office to prepare a short summary study providing a background for the construction of the St. Gellert Bridge between Magyarcsanád in Hungary and Cenad in Romania.
In order to make a well-based decision about the bridge, two issues needed to be addressed:
- what functions the designed bridge may perform;
- what is the financial-socio-environmental impact of the investment and are these costs commensurate with the planned functions?
