The running team of CESCI took part in the 8th Košice–Miskolc Ultramarathon, held on April 18, 2026.

The 118 kilometer race starts next to the Košice Cathedral and, passing through ten settlements, connects Slovakia and Hungary, strengthening the sporting friendship between the two nations. Competitors faced an extraordinary challenge: the route, winding along bike paths and public roads, tested the endurance of individual runners, pairs, as well as relay teams of 5 and 10 members.

CESCI entered a 10-person relay team in the following lineup: Roland Hesz, Melinda Istenes-Benczi, Kitti Dubniczki, László Borsos, Lilla Ocskay, Bendegúz Istenes, Gábor Hüse, Mátyás Jaschitz, Zsolt Siki, and Bence Jánosi. After several months of intensive preparation, the team far exceeded expectations, finishing 20th in their category with a time of 12 hours and 20 minutes, crossing the finish line at Miskolc’s City Hall Square.
