Join forces for Dniester area

With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the International Centre for Democratic Transition (ICDT) implemented the project aiming at starting regional cooperation in the Moldovan (Transnistrian area)-Ukranian cross-border region enabling the area to receive resources from the EU.

CESCI was invited to be the professional mentor of the project within the framework of which two trainings were organized (Soroca: 10-12 April 2012, Varniţa: 10 May 2012) where the experts of CESCI presented the relevant policy background of cross-border cooperation, illustrated with concrete examples and gave practical information on project development. In addition, a delegation of 12 people from Moldova came to Hungary for a study tour, the professional content of which was managed by CESCI. The task of the partners from Moldova and Transnistria was the preparation of concrete project concepts which were evaluated by our experts.
