CULTACROSS – establishment of cross-border tourism development (HU)

Within the framework of the Slovak-Hungarian project called CULTACROSS Arrabona EGTC has commissioned CESCI to produce four documents forming the basis for cross-border tourism cooperation. A comprehensive situation analysis (in Hungarian and Slovak) was prepared accompanied with a regional event and attraction inventory. Based on these, a tourism and marketing strategy, a risk analysis and a market research have been drafted. The Municipality of Győr, a then-candidate for the title of European Capital of Culture launched a cross-border cultural tourist development action supported by CESCI through organising a study trip for the participants of the project to Linz (Austria) on 29-30 May 2018 and the participation in the series of professional workshops of the project.
